Workshop Overview

This simulator-based workshop provides participants with practical experience in ASD and PFO closure procedures using a dedicated procedural simulator integrated with GE HealthCare cardiovascular ultrasound systems. Each session is jointly conducted by a GE HealthCare Clinical Application Specialist and an Occlutech Clinical Specialist, offering personalized guidance throughout the simulated intervention.

• Real-time image acquisition and optimization
• Echo-guided device positioning and deployment
• Device sizing and procedural workflow
• Hands-on practice using a procedural simulator and live echocardiography system
• Interactive discussion with imaging and structural heart specialists

Registration

• Advance reservation is required. (First Come, First Served – limited 30 participants)
• Registration Fee : USD 20 / person
• Registration Deadline : August 28, 2026.
• Registration will close once all available spots have been filled, even before the deadline.
• Please note that registration cannot be cancelled or refunded after payment has been completed.

Others

• Each session is 30 minutes in duration.
• Participants will attend in pairs (2 participants per session).
• Participants will alternate roles as the interventional operator and the echocardiography operator to gain hands-on experience from both perspectives.
• Each session is facilitated by one GE HealthCare Clinical Application Specialist and one Occlutech Clinical Specialist.
